Born in Switzerland on July 11th 1958, of an Italian mother and a Swiss father, Franck Muller was raised in a multicultural environment and inherited both creativity and discipline. From a very early age, he developed a growing interest for all mechanical devices. Co-founder and CEO of the Franck Muller Group, Vartan Sirmakes was born in Constantinople in 1956, descending from a family of Armenian jewelers. He moved to Geneva at the age of 18, following the advice of his uncle, who had been living there since 1952. Having studied at the College Saint Benit, Constantinople’s renowned French school, he had already mastered the French language.
